A Letter of Love from God Your Father


My Beloved,

Before you were born, I knew you, Jer.1:5 and I hope you know you are fearfully and wonderfully made! Ps. 119:14 You are precious in my sight and I love you. Is. 43:4 I have chosen you to be my treasured possession, Deut. 14:2 and I will perfect that which concerns you. Ps. 138:8

Nothing is hidden from my eyes. I keep watch on the evil and the good. Pr. 15:3, My eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show myself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are fully committed towards me, 2 Chron. 16:9 and though I am on high, I come to and have regard for the lowly and humble; but I distance myself from those who are proud. Ps. 138:6 and James 4:6 I am your strength in times of trouble and I will help, deliver, and save you because you trust in me. Ps 37:40 I know the hearts Acts 1:24, and thoughts of man. Ps 94:11

There are those who justify themselves before men, but I look at the heart; for that which is highly esteemed among men is an abomination to me. Luke 16:15 There is no respect of persons with me. Rom. 2:11 For I do not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but I look at the heart. 1 Sam. 16:7

Beauty should not come from outward adornment. Instead, it should be that of your inner self - the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which are of great worth in my sight. 1 Peter 3:3 Keep this in mind: although there are those who trust in their flesh or appearance, yet I say cursed is the one who trusts in man; who depends upon flesh for his strength. I search the heart. I test the mind. Even to give every man according to his ways. Jer 17:10 The one I esteem is the one who is humble and of a contrite spirit, who trembles at my word. Isaiah 66:2

I have chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise and the weak things of the world to put to shame things which are mighty; and the base things and the things which are despised and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are. I’ve chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which I promised to those who love me. 1 Corin. 1:27 I take pleasure in you, Ps 149:5 and I hear you when you call. Psalms 4:3 I am far from the wicked, but I hear the prayer of the righteous. Pr. 15:29

I will heal your broken heart and bind up your wounds. Ps. 147:3 Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Ps. 30:5 You will surely forget your troubles, recalling them as waters gone by. Job 11:16 Come to me and I will give you comfort and rest. Mt. 11:28-29 I comfort the downcast, 2 Corin. 7:6 and as a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you. Is .66:13 You shall not fear man who will die. I formed you, I’ve called you by your name, and I will be with you. When you pass through the storms of life and walk through the fire you shall not be harmed. Isaiah 43:1-2 No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgement you shall condemn. Is 54:17

It is I that gives you salvation and delivers you from the hurtful sword. Ps 144:10 I realize that even your friends who you trusted have caused you pain. Ps 41:9 Yet I call you friend, John 15:15 and I am a friend that sticks closer than a brother. Pr. 18:24 I want you to consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in you. Rom. 8:18

No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor has entered into the heart of man the things I have prepared for those who love me. 1 Corin. 2:9 I will strengthen and protect you. 2 Thess. 3:3 I will fight for you and you shall hold your peace. Ex. 14:14 I am your shield and your exceedingly great reward, Gen 15:1 and I command my angels to guard over you. Ps. 91:11 You are more than a conqueror in me and nothing shall separate you from my love. Rom 8:37-39

I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you to me with loving kindness, Jer. 31:3 because I am love. 1 John 4:8 I rejoice over you with singing. Zeph. 3:17

So set your affection on things above, not on things on earth. Col. 3:2 Delight yourself in me and I shall give you the desires of your heart. Ps. 37:4

Do not sorrow, for my joy is your strength. Neh. 8:10 Cast all your care upon me because I care for you, 1 Peter 5:17 and my peace that passes all understanding shall keep your heart and mind. Philip. 4:7 I will be with you always. I will never leave you nor forsake you, Josh. 1:5 because my love never fails. 1 Corin. 13:8 I have given you my Word. John 1:1-14
